  • GDT: MBB Jackrabbits vs Roos Game 2-7:30@Frost Arena JSN

The final game of the year is on Jackrabbit Sports Network for your viewing pleasure. It will be interesting if the Roos allow 60+% shooting tonight. The game by Hendo for the post to touch the ball is not likely to change. The Roo(7-6) defense and offense will likely be aggressive as they near the .500 mark in conference play. The Jackrabbits(8-3) continue to play for at least Top 2 seed for the SLT. The sweep is important. Go Jacks!!

It's the Douglas Wilson of last year. Hasn't missed yet, has 9 at the under 16 time out.

this whole not missing a shot so far is a good start to the game. UMKC staying in making a few 3s. wish could watch it.

I was waiting for Al Bahe to tie in the Fighting Hawks non-called PI when he referenced the 'Roo having his arm wrapped around Wilson, similar to NFL DBs

These officials seem to like to hear themselves blow their whistles.

atleast we got them into foul trouble.....wilson needs to avoid fouls in the 2nd half. so if he keeps attacking can get them on the ropes. just following game tracker but umkc making way too many 3s.

Not closing out very well and officials aren't great. KC makes them call a lot of fouls and Donlon complains constantly so Jacks get some calls against them that are iffy. Officials inconsistent both ways.

anyone watching or listening, are both teams just not adjusting to the officials or are they clearly fouls? If they cool off shooting in the 2nd half we should be fine with them in foul trouble assuming the refs dont swallow their whistles. Whats funny is the summit league tourney, they are going to let them play and fouls will be hard to come by.

umkc plays aggressive D so i can see them getting called for some fouls, but 13 in a half seems like a lot. getting 13 fouls on a team in the first half you would think we are up 20.

I know we have an advantage down low, but our 3 point shooting which was a huge strength of this team is no where to be seen.

There have been legit fouls. Al Bahe has been vocal about the hilarity of UMKC's players (mostly Allick) looking shocked when they're called for WWE-style defense (ok, it's not quite that bad)

When you are shooting 84 % from the floor and your opponent is shooting 54 %, you should be ahead by more than 4. Too many turnovers, and giving up too many threes.

KC is borderline fowling almost every player on every play. They look pretty obvious to me. It's no surprise we get a little more physical on the other end. The refs are probably just as sick of blowing their whistles as we are with hearing them. I hope we avoid these guys in Sioux Falls because of what goon mentioned - it would be really hard to beat them if even 1/3 of tonight's fouls were let go. Tonight though, just keep battling - a bunch of their key players will be stuck on the bench the last 5:00 at this rate.

Officials are worthless now, KC is fouling every play now.
