  • GDT: Jackrabbits(5-1) vs Golden Eagles(7-3) 4pm@Mabee Center

ORU is coming off a split in Fargo. The loss was a game 61-54 and the win was 80-74. ORU makes over 11 3's/game. Obanor and Abmas will be throwing up long shots when open. Today would be a great time for perimeter defense. ORU averages 80 points/game. Defense is sometimes optional if they get the ball moving up and down quickly. ORU was preseason pick at #2. At 7-3, they can easily be in the hunt for 1-4. This will be a tough series to sweep in Tulsa and the feedback on travel delays may influence the players some on Saturday. Look for the Jackrabbits to grind out the defense for the advantage. Go Jacks!!

Not that it matters but the Eagles fan board isn't overly optimistic about this weekend?

Keep pounding it inside. It looks like the Golden Eagles have little desire to play interior defense.

Fortunate to have the lead with not getting much from Wilson or Freidel.

Abmas needs to cool off quickly

Dentlinger is a big part of that

Will be interesting to see if they can continue to shoot 50% on that volume of threes for an entire game.

                      That would disgust me

Easley much better defensively on Abmas than Arians.

No ball movement - too much dribbling.
