  • SDSU(8-3) vs UND(4-11) 7:30pm @ Frost Midco/ESPN+

Fighting Hawks come into Frost with 3-3 conference record. They are certainly a bit high with overtime win last week against the bison. Rebraca will certainly gather attention from the Jackrabbits. Rebraca has some skills which will require a fresh defensive guy attending to him. They have played most conference games closer than the OOC losses. They have a close win over ORU at Tulsa. Sather has made the Fighting Hawks more competitive. The last win for UND in Frost was Feb 11, 1995. This would be a good number to extend. Go Jacks!!

Definitely a bit worried about this one.

Jacks have had a LONG time off again.

Played 2 games (or 3 if you count Mount Marty) in 6 weeks. UND just played NDSU last weekend.

Agree Coach. Could easily see the first half of this one being a bit disjointed. Still think we are likely to get in a groove and pull away in the 2nd half. Will be fun to see the whole squad healthy and back together.

Happy to be wrong. Damn that was a great half.

          Rust is over-rated.

Second half was a bit of a letdown, but it's hard to play 40 minutes the way they played the first 20. Too many fouls 20 feet away from the basket, and too many lazy passes. North Dakota has a history of getting blown out in the first game of the weekend and coming back strong in the second, so the Jacks will need to be ready tomorrow.

Interesting item from the box score : Baylor Scheierman had more rebounds (10) than the combined totals of Wilson, Dentlinger and Appel (9).

Did you see the bounce pass he threaded to Freidel for the dunk? Both of those guys did a great job on that play.

Does anyone know if Dentlinger is hurt or sick still? He didn't look good at all last night. We need him to get going to beat NDSU and ORU.

He looks tentative with his shots around the basket compared to last season. If Appel keeps improving at the rate he has been, Dentlinger's minutes could be reduced.

Don't discount his impact on defense. He's really good at defending the pick and roll and has done a good job defending the rim.
