Any Viewing options other than Midco+?

Will ESPN 3 pick up the feed or anything? (Since we can't go, it would be nice to watch).

Also...other thoughts on the games can go here. (or at least pre-games thoughts)

I believe it is also on MidcoSN2 (2nd Midco Sports Channel). Midco+ is a new streaming feature.

I saw Jay Elsen tweet that it was "exclusively" on Midco, but like da_coach the games are currently listed on the ESPN3 schedule. I guess if the ESPN 3 feed doesn't work during the USD-UND game I will be scrambling to sign up for the Midco streaming service.

Does this mean all of the midco games wont be on espn3 or espn+ anymore or is it just for the "Dakota Showcase"?

This is David Brown from MidcoSN. I will attempt to clarify viewing options for this evening because I know there's been a lot of confusion.

              1. If you have Midco cable, you can watch these games on regular old fashioned TV. They will be on MidcoSN 2 (Channel 624) because we will be airing the NCHC hockey pod games on MidcoSN (Channel 622)

              2. If you have to stream, you can ONLY do it on Midco Sports Plus, our new streaming service.

Many of us at MidcoSN have heard from people and seen the screengrabs that show the games will be on ESPN3 / ESPN+. Even though ESPN3 / ESPN+ still show the games as being available, trust me when I say they will NOT be on ESPN3 / ESPN+. You can only STREAM on Midco Sports Plus.

The service/app is $5.99/month, but if you sign up in December, you get the first 30 days FOR FREE! Sign up at midcosn.com/streaming.

As an FYI, with the Midco Sports Plus app, you get ALL of our live games, plus replays, original programming, etc.

              3. The Dakota Showcase games (all six from December 10-12) are exclusive (streaming-wise) to Midco Sports Plus. ESPN3/ESPN+ will have future MidcoSN broadcasts.

Hope that clarifies! I'm not a marketing person, but we apologize for any inconvenience. We're excited about the new service/app and we think you'll enjoy the same high-quality broadcasts as always!

David, is it just this event and going forward all Midco broadcasts will be on ESPN+/ESPN 3?

Thanks. Just wasn't sure if all of the other games going forward would be ESPN3/ESPN+.

So basically we can sign up for the free trial and watch the Dakota Showcase games. Sounds ok.

Maybe just put it on epsn3 and its not a problem? Maybe its just me, and not to single out Midco, they have a good product, but I hate going to stores and they ask, do you have our app, or whats your account, can we get your email.........frustrating but I guess its the world we live in. I really dislike having to have accounts or log in for everything you do.

Sorry, thats just me complaining. nothing like getting disney plus so i can watch stuff that use to be on amazon prime, but get epsn 3 so that helps, but then the local provider wants people to pay for their streaming service so its not on the espn3 that is already paid for, but then the local provider doesnt cover every game, so you need to get the jacks all access, but they have a history of bad production.....I guess i can always just use the radio for free......unless the vikings are on then you have to find a network that covers it when the flagship station has something else more important.........

Sorry, I have had a headache all day. I just finished my second to last semester of grad school so I am still trying to decompress after getting a bunch of papers and assignments done over the last week.

                      Go Jacks.

Anyone else sign up for Midco plus? I’m trying and keep getting sent to a page that says it’s not available in my region.

                          I did.

You're not located in CA, CO, OR, or WA while you're attempting to watch, are you (as it's not available if you live, or are traveling, in those states)?

when it shows the schools listed there, one of those is not like the other. seems like a bit of a outlier compared to the dakota schools.
