Murkey is second leading scorer for Denver on the season.

You would not have known that last night with 42 total points for the night. I did check the Denver stats and Townsend had 462 points coming into the SDSU game and Murkey and had 452. Ten points separated them and Murkey after last night no doubt is the leading scorer. Townsend had only 14 points Any time a opponent scores 35 or more, its a sure sign of not matching up on defense. I did not see the game but after this conversation, I am very curious as to how the defense covered. Apparently they thought Townsend was more of a threat offensively.
