GDT: SDSU Jackrabbits vs UND Fighting Hawks @ Frost Arena

The former fighting sioux come to town sporting an 8-10 record. Currently they are 2-2 in conference with a 3-8 record on the road. Coach Sather will be debuting at Frost as the UND head coach. He has 3 seniors in the starting lineup along with a freshman and sophomore. Stewart is the senior PG who is also the leading scorer and assist person. They are averaging 75 points per game in conference. During conference the rotation has been shortened with freshman Danielson getting double digit minutes and the other 3 reserves are 7 minutes and less. Freshman starter Allen-Eikens was a bit chippy in the ORU game and earned an early dismissal with a Flagrant 2 foul. We will watch if the coach might urge him to stay eligible for the entire contest. F Hawks have signature win over Nebraska at Lincoln December 21. FGCU and Denver are the other 2 road wins. UND is already showing better than the preseason peg of 8th. The Jackrabbits should keep the home winning streak increasing tonight. A solid home performance should make it grow to 19. Go Jacks!!
