The Jackrabbits head west for a road game that ought to be a road win. Denver is struggling to get footing with a very young team. Murkey is the senior of the team. There is 7 sophomores and 6 freshman along with 1 junior who has logged 88 minutes in 10 games. Murkey and Townsend lead the scoring. Freshman Eastmond who both starts and comes off the bench leads the team with assists averaging over 3/game. Denver will have plenty of size at the forward and post. Nzekwesi(6'10") did not show too much speed or agility against the yotes. 6'10" freshman Jones may provide a handful at times. 6'8" sophomore Kurnaz often starts and he is also 17-17 at the free throw line if they are looking for a guy not to foul. It did not seem likely Key will be back yet today, but with a young body anything may be possible. Denver is 3-5 at home and it would be a great time to get a conference win on the road. Go Jacks!!
