4-8 WIU comes to Brookings with 2 D1 wins over Ball St and USD. USD is their road win this year. The bison put up 94 on them in Fargo Thursday night. WIU is averaging 78.4 points per game. They are giving up 79.9. The same starting lineup has been on the floor 11 of 12 games. They will also go 5 more deep to the bench which turns in just under 20 points. Webster will lead the Leathernecks with points and assists. The other 2 guards Duff and Young are also scorers. Pyle,6'7" F, is a sophomore who was coming on last year is scoring 13.1 points with 4.8 boards and he 24-24 at the charity stripe. Claar is the post who will turn in 22.5 minutes and 7.8 points with 6.1 boards and 10 blocks. He is 7-12 at the line so must not get into the offense too much. Kyle Arrington, 6'10", is new to the Leathernecks and he was a teammate of Douglas Wilson at Kirkwood Community College. He is getting 9.1 minutes and he averages 4.1 points and 2.4 boards. WIU is chosen as preseason #7 in the conference which means the Jackrabbits need to keep the home winning streak alive and show that the win at Sioux Falls last year was an anomaly as the series is 26-5 now.
