Re: GDT: SDSU Jackrabbits @ Arizona Wildcats

Some outside shooting would be very welcome. It would take some inside pressure off Wilson and Dentlinger. The two down-low guys are keeping the Jacks in this game and keeping Arizona's big guys in foul trouble.
    This space for lease.

So many unforced turnovers. Just backbreakers

      20 turnovers

This is Dentlinger's best all-around game as a Jack.

At this point I'd say Wignett should be starting over Arians. Alex just doesn't have it to start the season

Yeah, he's going to be pretty solid for the next 3 seasons.

His passing is really good. It's nice to have a big man that can pass out of the block.

I almost feel like that will be more of an Achilles heel this year than our shooting. Good defensive team, rebounds well but we give up way too many possessions on turnovers.

A lot of the turnovers are inexperience--putting themselves in bad positions, or trying to play just a bit too fast, IMHO.

Wingett should probably start over someone. He's pretty good.

Can't argue much about this given tonight's performances. Wingett is 3-6 and 3-3 from 3 point range. 3 reb, 0 to's. Arians is fouled out 2-5/1-2 from 3, 6 reb, 2 to.

We're going to need them both though.

Is it in the Pac12 Network contract that they have to show Raggedy Andy's parents every time he makes a play ?

Key really, really, really needs to get over his habit of forgetting he's got teammates on the floor with him at the end of games.

EDIT: Okay, that assist made up for the quick 3 previous. A bit.

I much prefer this Pac 12 crew to pretty much any Big 10 network crew though.

There are moments when he dribbles way too much. That seems to have always been in his game. It usually causes him to get a bit out of control.

I'll admit, for the first time this year, I actually feel kind of good about this year's team. I wasn't sure until tonight. I figured the pieces were there but I didn't know if they could come together.

                                Looks like they can.

                                Hopeful.
