Daum with a double double already. Other than almost a 4 minute stretch between the under 16 and 12 minute media timeouts, the team has played well as a whole.
If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments. - Steven Wright
It’s always fun when you can be missing one of the conference’s best scorers, play freshmen the last 5:00 and still get a 28 point win. Well done.
Congrats to Mike Daum again. It’s too bad his on-court recognition fell on an icy-road night. Bigger crowds are to come. Like a lot of people, I have three or four doubleheaders circled on my calendar.
I was very impressed with Arians physical presence on the floor tonight.
When he gets his perimeter game going, he has the potential to be a very good player. Good on D and really good rebounder, and not afraid to take it to the basket.

Was impressed with how the Jacks played. In particular Owen King and Alex Arians. Frankly all the young guns were impressive. Love seeing them get minutes because after we lose the four seniors this year those guys will be carrying a lot of the load left behind. Daum did Mike Daum things.
Was it just me, or was UMKC one of the worst shooting teams we have seen in Frost in the last couple decades? There were some bricks thrown that I though might break a backboard.
The team is progressing towards conference play which is what matters. Hope Jenkins is good to go in Minneapolis because that should be a great ball game in a cool environment.
