But if they lose, a lot of casual fans may not even realize they were in the Big Dance.
Nah that's BS. A play in game in the NCAA tournament that's broadcast solely to the town Nome Alaska on the Opra TV network is still better to tell a recruit than an NIT game on ESPN.

I think you might catch some of the casual sports fans too. They are more likely to stop and watch simply because it is on one of the major ESPN networks. The Longhorn name also helps to stop the channel surfers I'd imagine.

Obviously anything can happen, right? Good or bad. I’m saying of both teams play their “normal” game, and you combine that with the fact Texas does not want to be here, I think you have more than a punchers chance to win. Texas is not all that good.

Jenkins 2nd best. After that advantage goes to Texas. This game is very winnable if you go in hungry and a chip on your shoulder. Texas doesn’t want to be there. I actually think the arena will be negative energy for the Longhorns. Many fans are done with the Shaka Smart era.

Unless your guys go in not caring ( which I don’t see ) I think you pull off the upset. I’m not even certain it’s an upset. TJ is very familiar with Texas and will have additional access of tendencies from the Cyclone office. I’ll call it 86-82 Jacks

You may need to cover your eyes often next year. I think between Caleb and DJJ, we are going to see a lot of shots from beyond the college 3-pt line.

Playing Texas is a big deal if for no other reason that it may open up the eyes of some kids that normally wouldn't get to see the team play.
