Zim reported he left because he didn't like his role. It didn't seem he had one.
It's too bad to see him leave! Wish him the best. Hard to know what all goes down in a situation like this. It seemed like the coaches were quite high on him.
I remember that from a long time ago as well but I'm pretty certain they don't do that anymore.
I don't think many students knew about it when I went since we did the few times it happened and were the only ones who took up the deal. Except the womens basketball coaches would show up for it too.
