9-2 NAIA Bulldogs play the Jackrabbits for the first time. The Bulldogs did play the SD School of Mines in an exhibition game where they lost in overtime. The Jackrabbits fell to #19 in the MidMajor poll and this game may not put too much into a sudden rise with a victory as the Mo State loss pushed them down. It should help sharpen up for Tuesday's game against UND. Tonight's game will not be on ESPN3. The 5:30 tip will allow the wrestling team to grapple with the rated Central Michigan squad at 8pm in Frost. Go Jacks!!

Beau broke his arm in practice and won't be playing at all this year. Was talking to some people during the wrestling dual and someone said Polk-Hilliard decided to red-shirt this year. Probably for the best. He could get some dead-time minutes, but that feels like a waste. He really needs a year in the weight room before he's ready for college basketball.Rollin' in my 5.0

The only way he could redshirt would be if he qualifies for the medical type. Then you can play in up to 30% of the games. If you play in even one game, you cannot go the regular redshirt route. If he would redshirt, we would only have 9 players - it would be hard to make it through an entire season with only 4 bench players.Originally posted by goon View PostComment
