I like Spokane and I like the Zags. But making fun of Sioux Falls is kind of tough when you compare it to a city that is only half-jokingly called Spo-Compton or Spo-ghanistan by people in other parts of the region.

Hearing Greg Belfrage (a USD grad) and Todd Epp stand up for SDSU and Sioux Falls (and South Dakota for that matter) warms my heart a little.. Because no matter our rivalry and the shade we throw on each other, we band together when others poke fun at us... kinda like this....

He's a nobody.This is why it's fun to upset a big time program,when they lose to another big program,they can accept that loss.Lose to SDSU or USD and it's like somebody just punched them in the nose.It hurts their snobbish little pride they rely on so much to snicker at the lesser programs.It's so sweet to knock them down a peg.Go Jacks.

It's correctly called Spokompton. Actually Spokane has a decent downtown and it's in a gorgeous area.
