It is Senior Day in Ft Wayne(18-9/7-6). While the seniors will get some attention, Konchar will be the guy who stays on the floor. He is the Summit Iron Man. Currently he has played 478 of 530 possible minutes. He will be back for 2 more years. Mastodons have lost 2 home games in conference this year. It will be a tall order for the Jackrabbits to make it 3. Ft Wayne averages 85 points per game in conference play. The defensive effort at Frost earlier might be the recipe needed to sweep the Mastodons rather than a scorefest. A win on the road would bring the possibility of .500 for the Jackrabbits in conference play which looked impossible at an earlier point. A win today would get a firm grip on #6 seed for the SLT. Go Jacks!!

Konchar, in my opinion, is really Daum's only rival for the title of "Best Player in the Summit League," and both just so happen to be sophomores. He is a complete stat sheet stuffer and one tough SOB. My favorite non-Jackrabbit player in the league to watch, hands down.

Agree about Konchar being fun to watch. Explosive slasher, good shooter, quick passer - he does it all and when he is really on they are about impossible to beat. Tonight's a chance to pick up a bonus win. I don't expect it, we don't exactly need it and it is going to be difficult to get. FW has been fairly inconsistent though. If things are really clicking offensively the Jacks can get it done. I don't think we'll hold their offense down this time like we did back in Frost.

[rant] IPFW and SDSU are on the same streaming provider. Remember the good old days when we often got the opposing team's video stream through gojacks? I can't believe that in 2017, there are so many games we just CANNOT watch.[/end_rant]
          Holy nutmeg!

The Daum and Konchar show for $6..... I'm definitely buying.

Another definite: Muting the video sound and using the WNAX feed for audio. Trust me on that one.

I believe Denver and UNO are the only Summit schools not using SideArm for streaming - it's kind of a joke that this group of schools doesn't share video feeds. Also, I realize we have a deal with Flowrestling, but meets should also be streamed on our server. It is called Jackrabbit AllAccess after all.

The preseason outlook for these teams might have been a game of interest for ESPN3. It also is the late game of the day and there is no conflict with another game. I would expect(hope) that both games would be purchased for one price.

TJ says that Hess was cleared to play again yesterday so he could play today depending on the situation. Hasn't practiced much though.

Says Theisen is still out. Might not be back until the tournament.

Daum and Flatten with back-to-back threes. And Daum hits another.

Jacks lead 21-19, 11:20 in the first half.

This game is living up to the billing. The pace is pretty intense. On pace for about 200 points. Refs letting a lot of contact go. Good show.

AJ Hess is coming into the game.

Jacks and 'Dons tied at 42 with 2:21 left. Daum has 18 points so far.

Halftime: Fort Wayne 48, SDSU 47.

IPFW shoots nearly 58%. Jacks shoot 52%. Daum with 20 points. Howell with 10.

Jacks are in a good spot if IPFW comes back down to Earth in their shooting %.

The odds are pretty good that neither team shoots that well in the second half.
