And Tyler said he was walking away from the official he was talking to, and then the official on the other side of the floor t'ed him up.

Stripes were not consistent. Crappy call when Otz picked up t. Coach had lead late and he needs to swallow tongue. Stripes horrible and any replay would show foul quite questionable and a charge was likely if there was a call. Road win is to be enjoyed.

That's petty! The coach does not have to agree with the call, but walking away is disrespectful?

          Re: GDT: @ Omaha Mavericks

I had the pleasure of attending this game. Really impressive win! I thought we did a ton of good things.
-Lane was great. Playing man-to-man, he absolutely fits in the rotation. And he hit some big shots today. More than anything, I think he rebounds super well.
-Tevin is super good defensively. He was terrific tonight on that end.
-Howell's free throws at the end were straight ice. If he can simply stick a foot in the ground when he's making a move and stop traveling, he's going to be even better. He's so athletic, though.
-Orris wasn't great. He's just a step slow on defense and made some bad turnovers offensively. It's really too bad we don't have a dynamic PG to put out there. But he did have a couple big baskets in the second half.
-Reed was great tonight. He looked more like himself offensively.
          -Daum is incredible. Enough said.

Our offense flowed so well tonight. Defensively, we obviously weren't great, but we held Hollins in check all night. I'm actually really impressed with Hahn. He's really good. The game stayed close because we make a lot of unforced turnovers. It was really gutsy to pull out a W, though. Just a huge win overall.

He's gotta swallow his tongue there. He can't give the refs any chance to T him up. That T could have lost us that game.

Good point but he may have been warned previously.

Looking back, it may have been Otz's choice of words that got the T rather than how he said it. He may have gotten away with "That's a bad call", but when he said it wasn't a fair call, that says the official is making the calls on purpose and could be seen as questioning the integrity of the officials. The person he was talking to must not have considered it a problem, but the one on the other side of the floor obviously did.

Did not watch or listen to the game, but would agree with your comments.

It sounds like we played a lot of man is that correct?

I still say he can't get a T there. He just can't. If I remember right we were up 5 and had just gotten whistled for a foul so they were going to the line for two. Then they get the tech free throws and the ball. Coulda been a six or seven point possession and we coulda been trailing just like that.

In that case I believe they didn't get the ball. They shot the technical free throws, shot the free throws from the foul call and then played on. Could have been a four point possession, I think it ended up being three.

I don't think Coach feels good about the T today. As far as points given up, I have flash backs to the Augie games and carrot tosses. Talk about giving a game away.

He didn't feel good about the T last night either.

I've never questioned his heart but that video shows he's in it. He will learn and grow from that T no doubt. The players appear to really like the guy.

2 wins at home this next week will move the Jackrabbits off the 9th spot in the conference. They could move to 5th place with 2 wins and no help from the higher teams.
