I think you can chalk it up to him still being a sophomore and the entire offense flows through him. Even with how well he did last year, that didn't happen really at all last year.

Exactly. He's gonna touch the ball a ton this year(as he should) His turnover numbers are gonna climb.

Sloppy start and sloppy ending. The team is improving and looks like all the pieces are being put together though. These next couple of games will tell a lot.

True. Maybe the struggles the other shooters had to start the season made him second guess passing out.

With all the changes this season, I think we'll see a pretty steep incline when it comes to improvements across the board,

By the way...Kentucky trailing by 8 at home. Could we move to #2 in home win streaks?

He was awful before today...and his FT shooting still is.

And your point is? You can say that about half the team. People expected this team to pick up where last year ended. Not realistic. TJ has made some adjustments and is figuring things out. The guys are gaining confidence and its showing. This team would folded with the start we had five games ago.

I would argue that this team is ahead of where they should be at right now. TJ has completely changed his schemes on defense, offense, and player rotation.

This team may also be deeper than I thought...

I for one like the 1-3-1 scheme for defense. If the opponent attacks the basket on their left, this scheme seems to have people there to pick up loose balls, like when KC turned it over. Also to have Daum on the wing seems to work very good.

UCLA has upset Kentucky at their place. The Jackrabbit men's team now has the 2nd longest winning streak behind Kansas.

Don't disagree with you there. Very good points. Also, Flatten completely changed the game when he came in. Wonder about starting him and bringing a long range sniper like Hess off the bench??? Good problem to have...

Otz seems to setting up a bit more consistent rotation, with Wallace, Flatten and Theisen getting the minutes off the bench. Gentry and Howell didn't see any time. It would be nice to not have to play Telly 36 minutes - his body really takes some abuse with all the charges he takes.
