I was watching national news this morning and they showed a replay of a last second shot in the Pfeiffer (ranked #2) versus Mount Olive game on Monday night. With the score tied 105-105, a guy from Mount Olive heaved a one handed baseball throw 70 feet, it went in, and they won the game 108-105. There were very few people sitting in the stands.

Good news for the Jacks. I remember a similiar situation with A DWU game back in the 70s. Don't remember all the circumstances but remember it was a full court shot. -

Huron College hit a full court shot in '79 or '80 to beat DWU I think. The score was tied and DWU had everybody at the other end of the court expecting a full court pass. Since nobody was guarding the player out of bounds, he just handed the ball to a guy standing at the baseline. The threw the ball like a baseball and it went in. I remember seeing the highlights on the local TV.(\__/)
