    SVP

    As with many at ESPN, Scott Van Pelt confused South Dakota State with San Diego State in his Sportscenter broadcast last night. Unlike many at ESPN, he owns up to it.

    I really miss him on ESPN Radio... One of the highlights of my week was when he'd get Buster Olney to almost wet himself on air every Tuesday.

    Someone send him a SDSU shirt or tie to wear during his show.

      People say Jack should go on the show and correct his paperwork for him or give him a shirt. It would be kinda funny and give SDSU a nice plug.

          Very funny,I was chuckling as the dialog between the two was happening.I read on Rebkells where a poster said something like "the real USF" commenting on the confusion that occurs between U of San Francisco and U of South Florida.He said there was a U of San Fransisco before they even founded U of South Florida.Sounded pretty familiar.There's the USC confusion too,I think.There's probably other dual designations also.

                $5 says he calls us the "South Dakota Jackrabbits" at some point in the very near future.

                  I think we need to address that he's going to be wearing a Jackrabbit shirt this week while we play his alma mater. Does anyone else find this really funny?

                        He mentioned it yesterday on the live ESPN bracket show. Said something to the effect of, "They are sending me a Jackrabbits shirt and I'm going to wear it this week. That's going to be hard on me".
