    Well this won't be easy.....

    I think they pick 6....

    Who to pick

    Emegano (a lock)
    Landis (a lock)
    White (a lock)

    I'm not certain after that.

For post players, Daum and Konchar have to be heavily considered. Probably only enough room for one of them.

For guards, there is a good argument for Patterson, Marshall, Paul Miller, Covington, and Combs.

I would say Patterson and Marshall.

    So my six are....

    Emegano
    Landis
    White
    Patterson
    Marshall
    Daum

I could understand Konchar getting in over Daum.

Miller missed some games because of injury.
    Covington's team finished last
    Combs just misses out.

    Second team is

    Miller
    Covington
    Combs
    Konchar
    Parks

I could see SDSU getting no first team selections. It might be Covington picked to the first team???

I think it will be interesting to see how/if voters factor in the tempo/pace in which the teams play. Scoring 18 ppg for Omaha is far less impressive than scoring 18 ppg for Denver. If efficiency is valued, Daum and Konchar are locks for 1st team, especially once you look at them during conference play.

I agree with you're 3 locks. I would move Patterson and replace him with Konchar for first team.

My Summit League Player of the Year would be Max Landis because of how much he elevated his game when Mo Evans was declared ineligible. IPFW could have dropped back a bit after that loss, but Landis basically willed his team to a conference title.

Also, not only do I not feel bad about leaving Covington off first team, I think it's very justified. He's a volume shooter on a bad team, and from the games I've seen, I think he has a terrible shot selection that actually hurts his team's chances to win.

2nd team looks fine after my adjustment, though I can see it shake out a few different ways that would still be justified.
