  • GDT: Jackrabbets @ Leathernecks

The Leathernecks are in the corner. They need at least 2 victories in 3 games to be in the hunt for the #8 seed for the SLT. They played a tough game in Frost which started their string of losses in conference. They handled Omaha at home and Denver on the road. The Leathernecks finish the season with 3 home games against SDSU, FW, and USD. The Jackrabbits come in with injury and illness. This is a tough game on the road and it will be another chance to avoid back to back losses this year. Hopefully, the young bodies bounce back for this game and stay in second place of the conference. Go Jacks!!

It's really too bad the Jacks MBB & WBB games are at the same time. Will have to see if I can both up and running at the same time.
If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

Maybe someone should call burkhalter over at the league office. Tell him we don't roll on shabbos.....or have the games at the same time.

It would be handy if they at least staggered the tip if they are on same day. I will be checking twitter for the men. WIU and the Jackrabbits will keep that current on twitter.

Thiessen with an offensive rebound and putback. And a 3 pointer, and a rebound. Get Connor in there! (tongue in cheek)

Jacks lead 20-11 with 11:39 left. Nagy providing some excellent color commentary on the radio by yelling at the officials.

Jacks need to attack the basket every possession.. WIU has no interior defense

No they don't have interior defense at all. Its too easy for the Jacks.

                            Half: SDSU 47, WIU 29.

Jacks shoot 38% but go 17-20 from the FT line.

Parks with 13; Daum with 10.

Jacks out-rebounded WIU 31-13. Thirty-one rebounds in one half. Wow.

Defense is so much better than last game. Obviously WIU isn't IPFW, but they have talented guards who we're sticking with very well, as it's not like they are just missing open jumpers.

Either the mic is closer to Nagy than usual or the old Nagy is coming out this game. He has not sat calmly on the bench to say the least.

Devine is looking really stout. Not sure what he figured out over the last couple weeks, but he's really coming on and contributing great minutes.
