The second half of the conference begins today. Denver will certainly bring few surprises today. Ball control and back on defense will be the routine. The game in Brookings found the Jackrabbits pull down 12 offensive rebounds and 14 more shots at the basket than Denver. Denver shot 55% and lost the game on 20-36 shooting. Rebounds and free throws worked for a Jackrabbit victory. One would expect a similar blueprint today with a heavy emphasis on defense to keep the Pioneers away from the easy shots in the paint. We could see a bit of zone from time to time today. Root Sports will televise for those who have that channel. Jackrabbits should be getting another road victory today at the mile high country to keep the pace at the top of the conference. Go Jacks!!

Damn these games against Denver are fun. The Jacks better dig deep and find some motivation or they're going to take a costly loss.
