  • Bracketology: Way Too Early Edition

Latest projection has the Jacks as a #12 in the Midwest Region. They'd be up against West Virginia in Spokane
-South Dakotan by birth, a Jackrabbit by choice.

Why even start this? I will ignore this topic until after the conference tourney is done.

Agreed its early, but why not do some speculating. I wonder how we would match up with West Virginia.

Just watched #17 West Virgina/TCU. It was about a 1 possession game for about 36 minutes then WV made a couple 3's and the game was over. The game was at TCU. IF the Jacks are 100%, I would like our chances.

I do too, overall our guys are playing pretty good except with the offensive effort is not what it should have been in the home stand.

Because that is what we fans do. We talk sports - we speculate. It's fun.

CBS has us as a #13 playing #4 Dayton in Denver. That would be good for me.

The ceiling is certainly very high if the Jacks keep winning. I expect that a couple road stumbles will bring these numbers down, but things are looking good with over half the season in the bag. There are plenty of teams that can't say that.

Kenpom ranking:66 - closest Summit team is NDSU at 141.

RPI ranking: 35 - closest Summit team is FW at 98.

Sagarin ranking: 64 - closest Summit team is NDSU at 150.

They also have a BPI ranking of 62 - Omaha is the closest 151

Totally agree. It's just fun. Just think when the D1 journey began. Did you ever think we would be talking about such topics on a regular basis? Plus it's good publicity for the program. Recruits look at this stuff......
