Last year against FGCU was the first game Moffitt started for the Jacks. The Eagles showed some speed to pull out in front after the halftime break. The Eagles are 6-4 going into the game. Their losses include Ohio(Saul), Florida, Texas A & M, and Bowling Green. Dunk City may still be appropriate for the Eagles since they only take 1 of 4 shots from 3 point land. The field goal percentage is a respectable 45%. Guard 6'5" Terrell(11) and forward 6'8" Norelia(25) take 1/3 of the shots for the Eagles and they are the 2 leading scorers as well. Terrell shoots 3's at 45% rate while Norelia takes virtually all his shots within the 3 pt line at 55% efficiency. Those two are also the leading rebounders. The Eagles have 10 players who average more than 10 minutes per game. If the Jackrabbits want some revenge for last years game, the defense will need to address the Eagles leaders on the court. I would expect the Jackrabbits will have their legs back under them today and play a much better complete game in Florida. Go Jacks!!
