USD's King heads all-region team
The University of South Dakota's Tommie King was named to the Daktronics NCAA Division II all-North Central Region men's basketball first team for the second year in a row.
King, a 6-foot-5 senior from Seattle, averaged 21.9 points and 4.2 rebounds a game this season.
Others on the first team were St. Cloud State senior Alex Carlson, MSU-Mankato junior Jamel Staten, Nebraska-Kearney senior Nick Branting and Bemidji State senior Charles Hanks.
South Dakota State's Andy Moeller was named to the second team. Also on the second team were Jack Bain of Colorado-Colorado Springs, Stephen Bahl of Colorado School of Mines, Alfred Sanchez of Colorado State-Pueblo and Matt Vaughn of Colorado Christian.

Interesting that Metro has no players on the first or second team.
