Good. I would love to start over and try again because clearly this wasn't working.

Good luck to Anders as he moves forward!

This is the latest casualty from this year's squad. It is a part of the growing pains as the team improves. Anders came with much expected by him and from him. The guard situation was very competitive and excluded him from meaningful minutes. Good luck to Anders as he makes this change!

I would think some of the NSIC schools will be looking to get him on their roster.

This is what I was eluding to in the other recruit thread. Possibly going to UMD I believe. Good luck to him.

You also have to wonder what the scholarship situation is at Winthrop , where his brother Bjorn will be playing. They seem to be really close. That would involve sitting out a year though.

That's an option. I suppose Cole Gentry signing no doubt made this happen sooner than later.

                  Re: Anders Broman granted release

It just never clicked for Broman at SDSU. His 3-point shot never really came around, IMHO, and he just kind of slid further and further down the bench.

Best of luck to him, and much success at wherever he goes (except against SDSU should he play the Jacks, of course!)

                    Re: Anders Broman granted release

I think Anders could be a very good D2 guard, similar to what Monaghan did a few years ago at Minnesota State. Just a bit too short and half a step slow for the DI game.

Best of luck to Mr. Broman.

                      Re: Anders Broman granted release

Happy the kid was a Jackrabbit for 2 years and wish him luck. He never got it going here and got buried on the depth chart, so it's probably best for him to seek a new opportunity.

I hope he can find a team that will allow him to dominate the ball more than SDSU did. He just seemed out of sort on the floor when he was the 3rd/4th scoring option, but when he had his bright moments at State, they came when he was playing with a scorers mentality (think the Belmont game last year or garbage time during this year's Summit League Tourney).
If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

                        Re: Anders Broman granted release

What does everyone think this means for us moving forward? Devine is now the only to be junior on the roster. Do we bring in another juco with his scholarship? If so, for what position?

                          Re: Anders Broman granted release

I would like to think that Moffitt gets put on scholarship with Broman leaving. If that doesn't happen, maybe another juco guard?

One side of me says Moffitt gets it -- another says we add a JUCO guard for depth - OR a possible transfer who sits out next season.

                              Had Donlan's spot been filled?
