The color scheme on those shoes is still hurting my eyes though...

I did not notice the shoes on the radio. Somewhere I doze off to sleep between George Marshall and Coach Nagy's post game comments. I am really pleased with the team effort in this game. I think we caught them unprepared which is not the thing you would expect from a Larry Eustachy team. I wished we would have shown some of this during the finals in SF. The 30 second game clock is going to wreck both Denver and NDSU offenses or at least speed it up. On to Vanderbilt.

Interesting contrast between the article linked by SanDakotaState at post 131 and the article in today's Argus. The Argus picked up an article written by a reporter from The Fort Collins Coloradoan and I think there's more of a slant in the Argus article about CSU playing poorly due to the letdown from not making the NCAA tourney. The other article does not play that aspect up as much.

CSU 's players and coach were gracious in defeat and noted the tougher team last night won.

Was glad to see Parks respond to their chippy PG although he was fortunate they didn't call the elbow or review the play. And how was that not a flagrant when Marshall took it to the basket for the three point play ? The CSU player landed a blow square across the face with a swinging motion trying to block the shot. The college rule must be different than the NBA where that would have been a sure flagrant call.

Disappointed the Argus didn't send someone out, but I guess I understand with all the changes. I agree though, the article they picked up is horrible. Nevermind the slant that JD pointed out, but within the article it states that there were 5500 fans in the building, and in the box score included just below it states 3400. How does that not get corrected?

Great win for the Jacks. They looked like the better team from beginning to end. Marshall was cold blooded. If he gets on a streak, no one is going to stop him. CSU fans were classless and yelled at the refs out of frustration because they were getting beat down. I can see why they made that call against Horstman, only because he was not going for the ball. It wasn't malicious in any way. I still don't understand why he even gets to play. It looks like he has zero confidence on the offensive side, and loves to foul on the defensive side. Good luck against Vandy on Fri. Great win for the Summit.

Wow I'll have to admit I just assumed you guys would lose but boy was I wrong. You guys not only beat them but you kicked their #1 asses!! Way to represent the Summit! I don't say this very often, but Go Bunnies!! Hey at least you guys get a chance to win your game and don't have to play friggin Gonzaga in what amounts to being a road game. I just hope we make a game of it. Hope you guys pull for us. GoBison

I give the Colorado State players and coach credit for complimenting the Jacks and saying the tougher team won. The talking head in the ESPN post-game studio (don't recall his name) was an apologist for Rams. He blamed the Rams' loss on the Rams being snubbed by the NCAA. Come on, give the Jacks credit for overcoming a heartbreaking loss in the Summit and also missing an opportunity to go to the Big Dance. Beating the highly regarded Rams on the road was a great consolation prize.

Game had a 5 vs 12 NCAA tourney feel to it. That's the kind of hot 3's night that Jacks need to open up the lane runs. Hope the WBB pulls a similar game.

Jacks have arrived in better mid-major territory. FIRST POST-SEASON JACKS MBB WIN!!!!

Now time to take down the Commadores.

I hope nobody gives JJ Avilia any credit. He is a cheap, immature thug who refused to even look up during the entire press conference after the game.

                            Exactly.

I'll point to overall tone/attitude of the coach interviews held after each team was eliminated, (postgame vs NDSU with Nagy, and Post selection show interview with CSU coach.)

While Nagy (and players) obviously had to be heartbroken, the general tone, and specifically his quote "this is what living feels like...." (still stunned at how awesome that was, btw) set a way better tone and example to his players than CSU's coach's 30 second "our dog just died" interview.

Heartbroken or not, CSU had an opportunity to prove the selection committee wrong, and they blew it, plain and simple.

Yeah,i was really surprised they didn't review the Parks elbow. I think we were up 10 at the time, obviously could have been a huge turning point. The officials seem to let a a lot of the really rough stuff go. Proud of our guys for not only taking it,but dishing it out too.
