It certainly added points to the total score. The weave would be less time consuming with the 30 sec clock.

Great Game. Loved the 30 shot clock.
So proud of the team, and their preperation, and resilience whenever CSU made a run.
      Man, that was fun!

I agree. With as much complaining about how boring college basketball is right now, I can definitely see it being implemented as soon as possible. Not sure how long it would be before that can happen. Next year already? I don't know that I like the extended arc under the basket... Almost seemed to give too much of an advantage to the offense.

And the 4 foot block arc converted a Bittle charge into two Jacks points and led to one of the csu players fouling out.

Just an awesome win. Game was very physical and our guys didn't back down.

On to Vandy, beat the Commodores.

BTW, is CSU the first team to ever lose to SDSU and SDSU back to back?
Seemed like the Jacks didn't have a clean defensive rebound all night but they battled and got it done.

              Huge win for the Jacks.

Great road win. At least eight Jackrabbit players made valuable contributions, and SDSU's coaching staff outcoached CSU's staff. Fun game to watch. On to Nashville. Go, Jacks!

Did anybody else notice Ian's shiner on his rt eye?

Also, sorry, not sorry. Larson needs to quit spectating when his guys shoot. Where is the thought that says treat every shot as though it's not going in? Our guys are always bad about this but for some reason Cody sticks out a bit more to me. Jake on the other hand seems to live by that rule.

I guess I just expect too much out of #34. Likely he's so good it looks like guys like Ian are trying harder.

Thankfully Vandy has some travel, too. They played in California tonight and I'm guessing didn't depart until after the Jacks game not knowing if they were heading to Fort Collins or home to Nashville. Both teams should arrive in Nashville early Thursday morning I would assume, though their flight will be a bit longer.

Was at the game tonight, a few thoughts:
                                1) Very physical game, I don't remember another SDSU team in the D1 years that would have been up to the challenge as much as this team was tonight. I can't remember having this many and-1 baskets in a game. Great job matching physicality.
                                2) Larson didn't score much but really affected the game in the attention he drew on offense which helped free up shooters; defensively he frustrated Avila, who got some points, but definitely didn't have his way tonight
                                3) We shot the crap outta the ball tonight. Every time CSU made a run we had a big shot to answer, Marshall carried us in the 2nd half.
                                4) CSU figured us out the first 3 minutes of the 2nd half - posting up their big forwards on anyone not named Cody Larson - why they didn't stick with it, I don't know. They made a big run but when we made a couple baskets they abandoned the strategy for God knows why, and thank goodness they did.
                                5) They didn't start anyone under 6'5, we had back court quickness advantage and we made the most of it. We're usually the team with bigger guards but Marshall and Park's quickness is something we've needed in years past.
                                6) A couple CSU made free throws changes the game COMPLETELY, brings the crowd back into and it's a dogfight to the finish. Us few rowdy jacks fan must have distracted their shooters.
                                7) 2nd biggest win in program history behind New Mexico?
                                8) $2 90 Schilling taps at the bars post-game. 2nd biggest win of the night.
