I was in the student section during the game, and nobody was interested in storming the court afterward. We all think it is a joke that USD storms with every victory over state. It was a consensus that storming courts is reserved for special moments like NCAA tourney births/conference championships.

Fun first half. Horrible second half. Hoping that doesn't carry over to tonight. The last 15 minutes of that game was beyond painful for fans and I assume players and coaches on both sides of the court.
Hoping for a similar start to the game tonight (I mean similar to the START of the game not the end of the game last night).
Talked to President Abbott this morning. He was gracious in defeat and always has a positive attitude.

They needed to play the 2nd half like it was a tie game instead of a 25pt lead. Always seems to happen when you get that big of a lead.

Everything that could suck about basketball happened in the 2nd half. Refs started inserting themselves in a game that was over. I think both teams were in the bonus with about 13 minutes left. USD starting subbing offense for defense with 15 minutes left. They put on that stupid token pressure and sucked way back in the lane on defense. It was ugly and painful to sit through.
That said, I'm glad it didn't come down to the last possession either.

It's hard to sustain that kind of intensity for 40 minutes when you are up by 25 midway through the second half and running bench players in and out of the line-up. The defensive pressure put on the three USD perimeter players for the first 30 minutes was unbelievable.
No one else in the tourny so far has even come close to the level we have been playing. We haven't had a full 40 minute complete game, but no one else is even close either.
