No mention of specific transfer destinations or if he'd prefer to stay at high major school, so only speculation at this point...

Dont get me wrong, there is a reason I haven't commented on his skill set. I am not a judge of athletic talent. We have a local kid here that I swear could play at the mid-major level but has no offers so that goes to show what I know.

The one thing that makes me curious though, is that his team gets a ton of exposure when they play in these prep team tournaments cuz there is a ton of D-1 recruits in those affairs.....out of 300 plus D-1 schools, what does our coaches see that no one else appears to?

I sure wished they had the knowledge to observe quickness/speed, athleticism, heart, etc. That way new recruits who happened to come on this board to read about their future home wouldn't see themselves being dissed before they ever set foot on the court.
No one said they're better at evaluating recruits than our coaches, we're just providing opinions. Do you really want us to sit here and blow sunshine up recruits a$$e$? If a recruit has thin enough skin to let some random guys on a message board get to them, he probably isn't going to succeed anyway. A good recruit would use it as motivation to get faster/stronger and prove those people wrong.

Back to this guy, I'm biased because I watched him all year but I would take Ty Hoglund from Dell Rapids over this guy any day. If Ty grows an inch or two after high school (which is very possible, his dad did), I could see him as a potential future transfer from DWU.

Maybe a little but its hard to take away a 4 minute high light video how good someone is or isn't or how athletic.

Not overly impressed with his athleticism either, but we've had other guards like Moffit and Bittle that weren't overly athletic and have contributed in recent years.

Would this guy be in addition to a juco or grad transfer?

But my first thought was not that he is going to come in and take control right away. When I watch a highlight video of a someone I expect them to completely standout and wow you but this video didn't do it for me.
This video displays his athleticism a little more:

I know the gyms aren't much, but the competition is usually there for these prep school kids. Kid looks like a glider to me (he's 6'4"), so he is probably quicker and faster than some are giving him credit for (plus, to reiterate, the competition he is facing is of a high caliber).

Gym at 2-minute mark looks like Summit's high school gym.
