With Devine transferring, I wonder if Vollbrecht will have to play. We now only have three players over 6'7". I really have been hoping that he could redshirt due to his ACL situation

It's a nice luxury to have those scholarships for a new coach!

What a recruiter! Otz has been the coach for all of 20 hours and already has a commit

I've only watched about 20 seconds, but he's got some serious springs in his legs.

The link indicated he had been approached 03/30/2016 by SDSU. We may still need to thank Klink for this one.

With Devine and Doyle leaving, it would be nice to get a post player in who could provide some depth.

Recruiting wise, the coaching realignment has been quite the upgrade. Nagy had more of a "just let recruiting happen" approach. We get a coach that is a known recruiter and will be proactive while retaining Nagy's best recruiter. The X's and O's upgrade or downgrade at head coach is yet to be determined but recruiting is half the battle.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Volbrecht play even though he tore his ACL. He will have had over a year to recover and is physically mature enough to play with the size he brings to the court. If he is indeed ready, I don't believe that we will need added post depth with Dykman hopefully being a contributer at the 4. If Volbrecht is not ready, I can see where your argument could hold some weight.
