Another big game at Frost. IPFW knocked the Jacks out of the tournament last year after Carlson missed a game tying 3 with 10 second left. Is that still in the minds of the players that were involved in that game? I hope so especially Larson, who had arguably his worst game as Jackrabbit in Sioux Falls against the Dons.

IPFW has probably been the biggest disappointment since league play has started. They are 1-4 with there lone win coming at home against Denver. Forbes has been hurt this season but seemed to be fine in their last outing at ORU. He had 22 points on 9-18 shooting, and 4-5 from the line to go along with 10 rebounds. The Dons seem to play 7 players. It sure would be great if SDSU could end this home-stand with a 3-0 record!

The game will be televised on Midco/ESPN3 for those who can't attend.

Hopefully this is not one of those post-rivalry trap games. You know FW will be fighting for their lives, so coming out flat could be trouble. Get Larson going early and maybe Forbes will end up on the bench with foul trouble.

Well they can't possibly come out flatter than they did on Sat. Forbes is a load and we certainly don't want him park that sizable butt down on the block for the 24 min/gm he averages. That being said, Larson has to go at him. To me this is one of those games where you go to the rim hard and right at him. IPFW plays a LAZY 1-3-1 with Forbes basically covering one block to another so I'd love to see us attack the high post. Should be fun!

        Re: IPFW

Agree with both. IPFW only has one conference win but was picked to win the league by talking heads (for whatever that is worth).

Bring the effort on defense and attack the basket and the Jacks win handily. Anything else and it gets interesting. This is a huge week for the Jacks. A win tonight and on Saturday and they are really in the driver seat. First things first, they must protect their house tonight!

Big game tonight. Hold serve at home. Classic sandwich game. Hopefully the pre-season billing the Mastadons received will prevent the look ahead to Saturday.

          Go Rabbits!

Any word on whether Broman and or Doyle will transfer?

This Jacks team is playing at a high level. Another big lead in a conference game. Impressive.

33-12 with 6:00 to go in half.

36-12 Jacks with 5:30 to go in the first half. SDSU is 5-6 from deep and has 9 steals.

Theisen is going to be a good player if he keeps developing.

He's doing pretty good job guarding Forbes as well. He's a tough kid.

Man, judging by the highlights they just showed, there must have been at least 4-5 thousand people at the ORU-IPFW game in Tulsa. /s

This is brutal. Horstman making hustle plays. Charge and offensive board. Missed the FT though.

We see tonight why mastodons went extinct, I think.

In South Dakota anyway, I should probably add.
