Denver is playing a 4 or 5 guard game since the 6'10" freshman center Amigo incurred an injury in the 4th game. Denver shoots .393 from 3 pt distance and they take about 45% of their shots from beyond the line. The overall FG% is .484. Their 3 3pt shooters Olson(.414), Engesser(.491), and Byrd(.489) take most of the deep shots. Denver averages 63.5 points per game on 47 shots per game. The Jackrabbits score 71.9 on 56 shots per game. The Pioneers get 15.7 assists per game as they move the ball around on the Princeton offense while the Jackrabbits average 11.7 assists. The hot shooting Pioneers only average 23.9 rebounds with 4.8 offensive boards compared to the Jackrabbits 36.3 boards with 10.7 offensive boards. We will see how well the 3 pt line can be defended in Denver. The Jackrabbits should get their share of the rebounds on both ends. Denver has not been going very deep on the bench. 4 players average 29.2-35.2 minutes with the bench finding an average of about 35 minutes per game. Denver may remember the game the Jackrabbits squeaked out last year at their place, but this year SDSU should be able to bring the defense and play ahead of the Pioneers and win another game in Denver.

Re: SDSU @ Denver The Summit begins
Denver is just stroking it from the outside right now. Wish I had video so I could see how contested some of these shots are.If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.
