The final score was indicative of Idaho going nuts from behind the arch in the last couple minutes. The Vandals were hot all game, but they just made tough shot after tough shot at the end. Credit them, but glad it wasn't quite enough to upset us.

Nice win. Your "real" starting PG is at the end of the bench and your fill-in PG spent a lot of time sitting next to him due to early foul trouble. Given the importance of that position, any DI win you can pick up in that circumstance is a bonus. Tellinghuisen is really coming on strong and the team survived a second straight finish with Larson on the bench due to fouls. Progress.
Coach Nagy sounded very pleased with the team's record to this point, mentioning the youth and the Marshall-factor. He made a pretty big deal out of how the upcoming long string of road games is going to take a toll on the team.
Too soon to nickname Tellinghuisen "The Baby-Faced Beast?"
Nagy's obviously delighted with this team. He even said in the post-game interview "how many times have we been nine games into the season and I'm saying I'm happy where we are?" (Paraphrase from memory, but that was the gist of it.)

Reason: "obviously" has an "s" in it. Obviously.
Two years of conference play and Summit League Tournament with Marshall and Parks at the guard positions should be fun to watch. This team is going to take a leap forward in the coming weeks.
Really looking forward to seeing the dynamics of the Marshall/Parks duo at the guard positions. Will be a completely different look than we've been accustomed to seeing at State.
Also a shout-out to Devine who had a huge block at the end of the game on a drive down the lane. Its great seeing him step up to be a legitimate backup to Cody a the 5 position.

Call me crazy but I think Devine could be a beast in the summit eventually.

I expect to see steady improvement in Connor's game as the season goes on. He's had moments of brilliance on the defensive end, but also has had times of either losing his balance or leaving his feet too early as well. Most of the negatives will be ironed out simply through more playing time, and it's been nice to see the coaching staff let Devine play through his mistakes some so he can learn and adjust.

Agree, nothing against Chad White. If Reed can stay healthy he will be a force on both ends of the court. He can shoot, he can penetrate, he can rebound and he can defend.
