I was just curious and looking at next year and....I have to say.....the lineup will definitely be something different than we are used to?
    I assume:

    Bittle -solid
    Larson -solid
    Marshall -solid
Broman? -Scares me every time he touches the ball. Is he our next best shooter of the future? Seems the game is still too fast for him.
Horstman? -Seems to promptly foul everybody
    Devine?
    Flatten?
    Severyn?
    Doyle?

I am very far from the inside looking out. So what's everybody else's take on next year's team? I'm usually pretty optimistic, but a lot of question marks here.
With fans like this who needs enemas.....

I assume Parks will start from day one...especially since Marshall isn't eligible until end of 1st semester.

Interesting to see if Daum and Tellinghuisen will be ready to play right away or redshirt.

        Next year

Bittle, Marshall, Parks, and Broman give us a lot of options at the guard positions. Those will probably be upgraded over this season. Youth will have to step up at the 3-5. Severyn and Flatten could get good minutes behind Horstman. One of them might be a major player. At least one of the Fr/RFr big men are going to have to contribute behind Larson and Devine. Will they? Who knows. Just don't be in a hurry to see the team pile up wins in November/December.

If I remember correctly , TV in one of his chats said that Severyn and especially Flatten could play both the 2 and 3.

I would think doyle would get first dibs over duam for time at the 4 or 5 behind larsen and devine.

I would think the better player would get the minutes. If I'm not mistaken, Daum is a shooter/post and Doyle is a traditional post.

                    Re: Next year

Just speculating but doyle having a year of training and practicing at the D-1 level would get the nod right now. Who knows when the season starts but doyle sounded like he had a good year.

Next year fear the Bison and Dupere. That kid can handle the ball and go places on offense.

SDSU will be better than NDSU next year. Will bet rep points on it

The Bison lose six seniors so they should be down. Don't know about their recruits. The Jacks lose four seniors, but will have at least eight recruits, transfers and redshirts coming on board to compete for playing time. Hopefully at least one of the three, tall incoming freshman will be able to contribute right away. The Jacks could be a pretty good team by the time conference games start.

I feel like I'm out of the loop since moving south of the border, but what about Donlan. Wasn't he hurt this year and will he be back next year?
