2. Braden Carlson is a terrific defender--the best in the Summit.
3. We need to recruit a player or two who shows some interest in knocking down a 3.

Exactly. We have 4 players on this roster who have played in 2 conference tournament conference championships and 2 NCAA tournament games. I think experience goes a long way in March. It's not like SDSU has been awful. The past few years, SDSU has produced its best teams since becoming D1.

Not to mention the success of the conference tourney is HUGE for the Summit League. Most mid-majors would kill for this kind of fan support.

Douple said the women's tourney was like #6 in the country last year for attendance. How can that not be a good thing?

If SDSU was not any good no one would mention the crowd and quite honestly there would not be as big a crowd. The crowd had little or no impact on the Denver-USD game. To be quite honest with you, I am going to have to agree with Stu Whitney on the "nary a peep was heard from the USD fans." It was was extremely disappointing to see such a poor response from their crowd.

I wasn't surprised at all. I'd guess at least 70% of the tickets are held by SDSU fans.

USD fans can't come if there are no tickets for them to buy.

There will be plenty I tickets for them to buy this afternoon. Will they? I have a guess, and based on what I see in front of me here in the arena, I feel pretty good about it. They do have 3 or 4 students in the student section. That will probably be enough to beat our student turnout.
