Pretty simple. You read a couple posts expressing frustration about losing the game and even questioning where this team might end up and make a silly exaggeration that "many think the season is over".

A couple posts? Really? It doesnt matter. I'll be there, weather permitting the rest of the season for womens and mens games and the summit tourney. Maybe things are getting tense around here because USD is 3-0 in the conference.

3 things you can count on in life. Death, taxes, and a meltdown on SDSUFans after a Jacks loss.

Yes. This meltdown is a bit over dramatic. How did we go from, "I just hope to see gradual improvement as the season goes on with a chance to peak in March" to, "by God we better finish in the top-2 or this whole season is a waste!"?

Wow. We need to step back from the edge people! We all knew this was gonna be rough. We had been playing pretty good ball. Then we play a team that had been whipped two days ago and we cant throw the ball in the ocean and all of a sudden we suck?

Anyone think UNO may have been fired up and maybe we relaxed a little?

Maybe they should pull a bucks. Go into tank mode to get the 7 seed so can have a day off in the turny. Just kidding of course.

These are college kids. Even the pros have off nights. But really i could care less about what other people think, just having some fun.
Exactly. Most teams DON'T win 21 in a row in conference at home. It's one loss. Was I happy with the way they played? Nope. But considering the shooting percentage, it was really mostly about missing open shots (with a few dumb turnovers thrown in). Hit a couple of timely shots, and it's a whole different game.

Nobody is on the edge here. Might be some on the edge in Brookings at Frost arena during practice this week.

Jacks don't lose at home very often so when we do its disappointing. Its going to happen (a lose) but what frustrated me more than the loss was how we lost! Throw the ball away a couple of times at our end of the floor trying to inbound a pass, which led to easy layups on the other end. Not getting back after we make a layup and give up easy baskets. Gave up some really easy dunks on penetrate and dish plays leading do 55% shooting!

Even with all of that if we shot a reasonable percentage we could have won this game. I think Chad White is an excellent Jackrabbit but when he's not playing well why not Zack H?

Big game coming up as the Bison arrive at Frost on Saturday. I am more concerned about that game than I was about UNO. Maybe the team was to?

Omaha has a good team, and the Jacks shot horribly - 3 of 19 from three. If a few more shots had fallen in, it could have been a different game. Let's not panic yet. This team can improve and should improve. Getting the top seed in the Summit Tourney might be expecting too much at this point, and getting the 7 (last) seed would not be good. Other than those two positions, seeding in the tourney won't really matter. The championship will be up for grabs.

Maybe it's time to tweak the starting lineup. Start Broman and let White come off the bench. Maybe Chad would provide a spark in that role.

If the Jacks beat the Bison next week, we'll both be 3-2. USD goes on the road and loses twice, like i expect, they'll be 3-2. Omaha beats USD and Denver at home, they'll be 3-2. IPFW wont lose to IUPUI, so they'll be 4-1. Western could beat USD and Denver at home and also be 3-2. It could be an interesting rest if the season if this all happens

I didn't get to watch or listen to the game. I've only looked at the box score.

My thought is that if Jordan goes 1-9 from 3-point, White goes 0-5, and all of the other stats are about even then you are going to get beat. Again, I didn't see it but looking at the box score and then seeing the meltdown on here doesn't make much sense. Yeah, it's a disappointing loss but does it mean it's time to panic? I don't think so.

Normally my thought would be getting Jordan that many looks is in our favor. I'm not worries about Dykstra. He has been very steady and is one of the best in the conference. He will be ready Saturday. We have to have more production from White (1-7 FG, 0-5 3FG, 1-2FT, 3pts, 2 RB, 3TO, 3 STL, in 35 Min.) if we are going to be a contender. We are a completely different team when he is productive.

It sure looks like Brayden played a heck of a game. Really am surprised how well he has transitioned to PG. Having a phenomenal Senior Year.

Remember folks, it's all about the tourney in Sioux Falls. That is the only way to the NCAA. Like others have said, it would be huge to have a bye by being a 1 or 2 seed.

It might be the perfect time to play the Bison. These Jacks will be hungry. They need a huge, noisy crowd behind them. WE NEED TO DO OUR PART!!! LET'S GET THAT DONE!!!
