    Re: IUPUI - Conference opener

Huge sequence of events here. IUPUI makes a 3 to cut it to a 3 point game.

Dykstra with the score and the foul. Then a technical on Todd Howard. JD makes all the free throws.

    78-70 SDSU. A 5 point possession. 2:55 left

Not a good time for a technical for the Jags

Bittle with the 3 and no one was around him. Why?

Dykstra cut down the lane on the weakside off of White's post up and two Jags followed him. Left Bittle by himself on the weak wing and Chad found him. Beautiful basketball and a great cut by Dykstra.

Todd Howard lost this one for the Jags. It was 73-70 at the T. Now it's 86-70 SDSU with :35 seconds left.

Eh. Dykstra had the and1. So he took a 6 point lead and made it 8. I don't think it would have mattered, but it certainly didn't help.

Big shot by Bittle. Definitely a back breaker.

It ends up being a comfy 16 point win. One game up on the Bison!

Great game. IUPUI has improved or at least has a full roster this year. Childs looks to be a good one.

Now that's how you close out a game, what a difference from the UND and UMKC finishes. 3 road wins in a row is also pretty nice.

The only question mark is the D. A few too many easy looks for my liking. I think they'll get it tightened up.

                          Bison lose by 11. That's a shame

That Bob L announcer kind of sounds like Ron Burgundy.

Wow. Jacks finish with a 13-0 run and a 16-point victory. That's how to close a game. The starters played well. Nice win.

Well, the T definitely took the momentum away from the Jags, who just hit a 3 to bring it to a 3 point game, but, you're right, it probably wouldn't have swung the game.
