So the Jacks win today is a better win than the NDSU win at ND? Belmont does have a better RPI than the Irish and our RPI is incredibly low.

Reading all these posts are hilarious. I was one of the few optimists on this board and all I heard was that the team is awful before this game.

Yet we're nothing like those bi-polar Bison fans lol

Ladies and Gentleman, Jake Effing Bittle.

That is what the Jacks needed. Finally, a game that they can look at and say that is how we can be when we put it together.

The goal is the same and remains in front of these guys. Conference season is what it's all about. The tournament in Sioux Falls is the prize. Continue to improve play as a team.

Great win! In to the next!

No one said they were awful. Many people said they were "playing" awful. There is a difference.

Per RPI, yes, but perception wise the Bison won on the road against an ACC team. The Jacks won at home over an OVC team. They received some coverage on ESPN, the Jacks won't.

                      Re: Belmont

There is some hope for the Jackrabbit men this year! Jake Bittle was a great addition to the team tonight It was his turn I suppose since he had a few games off. The first half had one problem. there were some unforced turnovers. They were a result of some over aggressive play, but they again it resulted in unforced turnovers. The second half started with some more good shooting and great defense. The Bruins had some very quick and effective guard play that great defense neutralized. Also, 57% shooting by the Jackrabbits is hard to beat! When all the starters score double digit, there are few complaints and they outrebounded the Bruins as well. The only thing that was subpar was the crowd. It appeared larger than the 2000+. There were a few more students in the stands unless they were high school kids. This should count as a quality win tonight.
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

Nice win today. It was a fun game to watch. Cody Larsen was excellent. He battled hard down low and worked really hard on both ends. It was nice to beat a good team with Jordan making one FG.

On another note can anyone explain to me why the Rabbits have to go play in KC? Aren't the Rabbits the two time defending Summit League champions? Don't the Roos need this game more than SDSU? I just found it interesting ever since the schedule was posted.

Nice win today - GO RABBITS!
