Thinks the players are embarrassed by the efforts tonight. Feel they wasted Stanford's time. Says they have a mess right now, not just the players but the coaches too. Told the players this is an opportunity to grow. Usually don't grow when things are going well, but when things are going bad.
Still thinks this could be the best team he's ever coached. But right now having a lot of internal struggles. How hard you play is telling your teammates how much you care about them. If they're not giving good effort, shows they don't care about their teammates.
Proud of Carlson and Heemstra for their effort. Thought Devine did a pretty good job. Could be better defensively. Gave good effort. Though Jacobsen gave great effort, too.
Says team will watch this tape. Told team if they're not embarrassed by this, there is a serious problem. Thinks they are all embarrassed.
Well, that was less that exciting basketball. This teams issues are much deeper than the ones we all knew they would have. White cant handle being a go to option right now and without his shooting it makes things nearly impossible for the guys inside...
Get it fixed by conference and we will all be happy...otherwise the football countdowns will start in early February.
Someone better look up the worst loss in SDSU history, because this one has to threaten it. I knew we would get beat badly tonight, but this one was over in the first 3:00.
Nagy questioned the team's effort, goals, and (pretty much) heart in tonight's pregame show. I'd say he has a point. After these two California games, it looks like the problems go far beyond the X's and O's involved with replacing two graduated players.
I understand the sentiment, but its not even close to the worst loss ever. There were some ugly, embarrassing, 40+ point losses during the transition.
“I used to be with it. But then they changed what it was. Now what I’m with isn’t it, and what’s it seems scary and wierd. It’ll happen to you.” — Abe Simpson
Thank god there were not many butts in the stands to watch that mess. Turned it off and quit recording it on dvr. This and the ladies game at BYU were the first ever I have erased from the dvr. God help those teams find themselves

I can't remember the last game where it looked like we had so many players that weren't playing hard. The only positive about that game is that it's over.
