For as much as Coach Nagy emphasis's defense giving up 58 in a half is simply poor basketball. The Jacks will be a beter team when and if Bittle returns. But right now we simply are not very good, Difficult to say exactly whats wrong but there is something not clicking yet with this team.
Hopefully when we can hang in there and represent ourselves a little beter in the second half.

The last 2 halves of basketball played by the Jackrabbit men may be the worst in the history of the program. Dramatic? Yes. Accurate? I don't think I'm too far off. This is not a good team right now and all indications suggest they won't get a lot better. Summit league is way down so they will compete in league. OOC there only chance is against non-DI or really poor teams in Frost.
Someone better look up the worst loss in SDSU history, because this one has to threaten it. I knew we would get beat badly tonight, but this one was over in the first 3:00.
Nagy questioned the team's effort, goals, and (pretty much) heart in tonight's pregame show. I'd say he has a point. After these two California games, it looks like the problems go far beyond the X's and O's involved with replacing two graduated players.
This is a surprisingly bad beat-down. After nearly every game, I think the Jacks have learned something and will be better next game. I don't see much benefit coming out of this one.
Denver lost to Stanford by 9 (At Denver) and we are losing by 30+. I hope this is just a bad night and not an overall indication of how they would match up against other SL foes.
