Good for Clint. I heard his wife is a better 3-point shooter than he is. That has to hurt.
His wife Jill is a great 3 point shooter! I think she set the Summit League all time record for 3 pointers made? Clint will be a great addition to Jackrabbit basketball. I assume this is a new position? Nick Goff just left the program to take a similar job with U of Nevada.
I hope Jill gets involed with the Brookings BB programs as well. Either at the college or high school level.
Both will be great additions to the Brookings community.

Yes, this is a new position. My understanding is that some of Clint's duties will be: handling the teams travel, all the video work, academic adviser, and i'm guessing he'll be involved in scheduling also. These things were handled by coaches and the Grad. assistants in the past. Now,coach Nagy and his assistants can put more of their focus on coaching and recruiting.
My understanding is that in D-I athletics, Director of Basketball Operations is generally technically an "administrative" position instead of a coaching position, but in reality, it's basically an entry-level D-I coaching position, just above grad assistant (as it's a full-time job) but below assistant coach, and conveniently doesn't count against the NCAA limit on assistant coaches but offloads pretty much all of the logistical and much if not all of the scheduling and other "grunt" work (like video) that the assistants otherwise would have to do.
