According to Matt's twitter:chipped a bone out of my knee, docs are saying 6 months.
ouch...that sucks. TV had reported that during the "preseason" stages last year, that Donlan was actually better than advertised, and had been a terrific shooter.
He's a good follow on twitter. Seems like a real nice kid.
Two members of the SDSU men’s basketball team underwent knee surgeries last week: true freshman guard Skyler Flatten and redshirt freshman guard Matt Donlan. Jacks coach Scott Nagy said that Flatten had a procedure to repair an issue that caused him pain during much of the high school season, when it was thought to be tendonitis. He’s likely to be ready to play by the start of school.Donlan may be out until the start of official practices in October - and that’s an improvement from the initial timeline of 4-6 months. “He doesn’t even know when it happened,” Nagy said. “His knee just started hurting.”
