Thanks, but with 14 of the 18 having him going in the second round or undrafted, is interest really at a "fever pitch?"

There are twice as many mock drafts projected him to be in first round than undrafted

These will get more accurate once the Europeans and college players declare for the draft.

I'm going to guess 35-40, but he can rise quite a bit in these pre-draft workouts

I enjoyed the list, but it's clear there's no consensus. We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed on draft night. My guess...mid-second round.

            12 of 18 mock drafts isn't a consensus?

I remember when Dale was going to get drafted. I now set my expectations low and hope for the best. I think Wolters can play in the NBA, but seriously, it's South Dakota State. If a GM misses on a guy from Michigan, it will be forgotten. If he misses on a guy from SDSU, he'll be looking for a new job. The safe way for a GM would be to not draft him, invite him to camp, and see how it goes. The real question is will a GM believe in him enough to risk losing his job if he doesn't work out?

I agree with you that no one should get their hopes up too much, its a draft and there are only 60 picks.

At the same time this is a terrible draft, its been described as possibly the worst draft ever, and at the best the worst in a generation, sounds as if Europe isn't going to add much as well. The probable #1 pick could very well not play a minute next year, Mclemore a probable top 3 pick didn't do ANYTHING in the tournament. Its full of 1 hit wonders and guys who disappointed this season.

Draft just got a little weaker too. Michigan players Mitch McGary and Glenn Robinson III are returning for another year of college.

You have to remember Dale Moss only played 1 year of college football. He might have got drafted if Dale played on a BCS team but since it was a team from the FCS, he didnt gain that much attention. Nate Wolters has had scouts watching him play for the past 2 season. Also there has been a lot of attention surrounding Nate with his 53 point performance and the numerous articals mentioning him and writing about his game from "big time" writers (Matt Norlander, ESPN, ect). I believe a team will draft him in the middle of the 2nd round.

Michigan States guard Gary Harris who was projected as a lottery pick just announced he is coming back to school.

I'm still gonna say he doesn't get drafted. He is good enough he should but I don't know if a gm will take the pick or if he will just get a lot of atention to get invited to camps after the draft like moss was.

I'm going to go out on a limb and many will probably think I done gone crazy but I wouldn't be surprised if dykstra gets more attention and gets drafted next year. Scouts and GMs will look at it and see a 6'8 43% or better 3 point shooter who can rebound and good with the ball can defend smaller guys on in the post and long enough to gaurd on the wing. Nba wise I think jordan might garner more attention then nate. With all that depending how his senior year goes. He plays big avg 18 point or more and 8 or more rebounds agame and I think it might be him next year all the talk will focus on.

Throw in Marcus Smart and that's at least 4 potential 1st rounders that are returning to school. If Nate's gonna go in the first round, this is the stuff that needs to happen.

LeBron James and the Heat need to win a NBA Championship first.

As far as this years draft goes. I would say that the draft being as weak at is, GMs will try to find that "diamond in the rough" as you don't want to be the GM that passed on a sleeper draft pick in a weak draft.

If Dykstra can stay consistent and remain agressive on the offensive end, who knows how high he can go. It will be really interesting to see how Dykstra and the rest of the team performs without Nate next year.
