Michigan beats the Gators today to go to the final 4. They may as well win 2 more.

If Hardaway and Robinson had played that way against the Jacks , it would have been an even more interesting game.

A good number of us said that Michigan would be tough to beat if they played the rest of the tournament like they did against us. Well...they have, and we were right.

"Better" is not exactly the right word . . . but yeah, if you're gonna get beat in the tournament, it might as well be to the champion (or the runner-up).

Yes and McGary was a beast in this game. Loved Boheim chewing his nailes

I also watched the Witcha State game and what a missed opportunity when Ron Baker turned us down to walk on at WSU.

Glad the Wolverines advanced , but they were fortunate they did after bricking as many free throws as they did late in the game.

I'd classify it more as a good try than as a missed opportunity, considering Baker is from Kansas. Baker obviously has talent, which the SDSU staff recognized, and they got him to visit SDSU. Close but no cigar.

No doubt. We held up very well considering what we were up against.

Getting him to our campus was an opportunity, but no doubt this guy had many opportunities. I don't think Ron Baker will see it as a missed opportunity either.

Baker wanted to be close to home - SDSU was 8 hours from home and he felt it was too far away. You can't fight geography. The class of 2012 is probably our most diverse ever with Oklahoma, Illinois, Alaska, California and Portugal represented. I confess to being somewhat disappointed that the 2013 class is so homegrown - not because I have any problem with the recruits themselves, I just like diversity. I think the 2012 class all seem to be fairly happy in their choice with SDSU and will stay and be good contributors.

No. After taking a little more time to think about it, I'd say he may fall into the early second round (35th-40th overall).

Doc just said he's "too classy" to call Bill Simmons an idiot. He obviously reads this board.
