Still bewildered why Marcus Heemstra never saw the floor tonight. Frustrated by the lack of a bench - not filled with confidence for next year at this point. Going to find a body of water to build my bridge.....

( I know Brayden had a great game and has been solid most of this season, and I know Chad White can do much better and I know Jordan Dykstra has more potential on offense than he showed tonight. I like what I see from Bittle and I believe that Marcus is ready to step up and be The Man next year, I'm just circling the plug hole right now....)

Lost in the shuffle: Carlson put up 20 on Michigan.

Hardaway and Robinson had 21 apiece for the Wolverines.

    Difference in the game: Michigan shot .509 and .450 from 3, 9 of 20, SDSU shot .442 and .211 from 3, 4 of 19.

The five extra 3-pointers Michigan made are the margin of victory: 15 points.

But Fiegen was playing well, so it was hard to take him off the floor - except for that whole REST thing!!

They will be fine when they shoot 50 percent from three like tonight. They shoot under 25 like us and they will struggle just like we did.

I agree that Michigan was hot, but a lot of those shots were virtually uncontested - that can't happen against a good team!

nater could have went to the next level tonight but wasnt able to do it, played great d though really fine. read a review that the scouts were looking for him to stay in front of burke and I thought he showed that. and 71-56 is a realistic score between sdsu and michigan in my books, sounds about right, but was hoping for a fairytale

So dissapointed, and yet, so proud at the same time. Such a weird place to be.

Take a step back and think where we were as a program five-six years ago, to think that in that short of a time frame we as a fan base have come to expect our team to not just play but win when facing some of the top teams in the country tells me how amazing these past two years have been. This year was a GRINDER. I am so proud to be a Jackrabbit fan right now.

Thank you Nate and Tony for EVERYTHING you have done for this program.

That said, so sad right now.

I thought that at the end of the game, Bittle was the only Jack on the court who wasn't afraid to be aggressive offensively and take a shot. All of the others seemed to be on their heels on offense all night.

Mich smothered us on defense, too much playing slower Summit league foes, but, when that's your conference ,you have no choice. We are just about there,we need a step quicker players, but the power conferences seem to get them all.Mich will go far,if they play like they did tonight.

I thought the Jacks dictated the pace of the game, and had lots of good 3's shots, just couldn't hit worth $%it. Nate did a great job on D. The talents of the NBA namesakes showed through for UM.

Jacks played an ok game against a quality team. Be interesting in seeing how UM does from here out.

The guys didn't do the little things that would have made us competitive: they made poor passes, were too passive on offense, couldn't hit 3-pointers, had poor recognition of the hot shooter for the other side.

That having been said, Michigan is really, really, really good--when they want to be. It took them a while to want to be tonight, but they got there.

    Hail to the victors.

Too much quickness and foot speed from Michigan. Add in the way they shot the ball and they are almost impossible to guard. They spread the floor and when you help on Burke, someone is going to be open.

Reminder: Michigan was the #10 team in the country, and were for a while #1.

Guys played a poor game, and lost by 15. To the #10 team in the country.

    Not there yet. Getting there.

    More work to be done.
