  • Murray State

I thought I'd start this one a little early, mostly for selfish reasons (see below).

I will be in Rapid City for the game and was looking for suggestions on a good place to watch it with my son (10). Any suggestions for a kid-friendly spot where we can grab bite to eat and be assured that the SDSU game will be on the TV? It would be great to find a spot where there would be a few other SDSU fans.

The West River Jacks are usually at Thirsty's and I am pretty sure youngsters are ok - they have a kid's menu

I've watched a couple of games with the West River Jacks when I have been in RC for business. They are a good group.

It took Murray State double overtime to defeat Morehead State tonight. Final score 107 to 100.

Take some extra cash for the 50/50 drawing. Thirsty's has great food and big beers.

Jacks will need to play much better on Saturday than they are right now. I'm sure they will- this place is about as much fun as the Dentist

You can tell ESPN is done with Bracketbusters after this year - I've been watching all week and the only game they are promoting is Creighton - St. Mary's

Morehead State lost by double figures to both NDSU and USD this year.

This should be a good one. Looking forward to spending so quality time in the man cave with the big screen. Go Jacks!

                      Re: Murray State

I've said it numerous times, Nate will be Nate, its up to the supporting cast. This team has proven that it can lose games it should win. I think that is true for almost any team. Coach Nagy summed it up best when he chastised the guys for not putting CSUB away in the first half Wednesday.

I hope Nate comes out very aggressive and the other guys feed off of him. I don't want to see Nate trying too hard to engage the others. Its up to Jordan, Chad, Braden and Tony to play their role. I'd go to Marcus early if the others are flat at all.

Looking forward to seeing the Jackrabbits on ESPN2, we should win this fairly easily.

You might want to re-check your facts, SDSU did defeat IPFW at their house the night that Nate scored 53 pts. Also dont down play the other players on the team. They will show up to make you a real rube, which you appear to be.

And, as you know, SDSU lost to Hofstra, USD and CSUBakersfield.

If we play like we played in any of those three games, we lose by double digits.

If we play like we are capable, Jacks win.

I'm skeptical, based on past history of performance in televised games (except for Buffalo last year).

He said "nearly lost" to IPFW, he was right. Also right that the other players have been the epitome of inconsistent. Doesn't mean they won't show up you just never know if they are going to bring their best or something less, often much less, than their best.

Nidaros, he did say nearly lost to IPFW.
