Re: UMKC
UMKC has some rumors of considering WAC. That would be a serious downgrade, but maybe they could compete for conference title right away. Conference tourney in Vegas. Floor show would have larger attendance at casino. Story on their forum.no other chatter on weber that I found.Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Re: UMKC
Thinking back a few years when SDSU beat UMKC and a KC Star columnist wrote about how an urban school like KC should never lose to somebody like South Dakota State. I emailed him to point out that SDSU has a lot more basketball (and other) tradition than the Roos. He dismissed me with some unpleasant suggestions about what I could do with myself.
So... how's that column look about now? The Roos are a terrible basketball team. Like usual.Holy nutmeg!

This SHOULD be an easy win but if I know Nagy he is worried about it because of a possible let down after the USD game. Personally, I don't see a let down coming. It's late in the season and these guys are focused on winning the conference. I think we will see good intesnity out of them the rest of the year.
Hard to believe there are only a few more games left in Frost.

Re: UMKC
I'm looking forward to a fun afternoon in Frost and witnessing the setting of a new record for consecutive wins in Frost! As Coach Klink tweets before each game -" 28 in a row sounds like a nice number"Message for the youth: “Set your goals high and work for them, because if you set your goals where they should be, it’s going to require a lot of hard work. And even if you don’t achieve them, it shows longevity, and it shows commitment. And those are both things you need for the rest of your life,” Tony Fiegen
