Here are a couple of links that should help everyone get to know SEMO better.

The Indians/Redhawks (their name will change in the spring of '05) look to be a team we can take. Size wise we match up well. Should be a good one.

Go Jackrabbits, beat the Indians/Redhawks! ;D

SEMO played Western Kentucky tonight.  Final Score WKU 74 - SEMO 53.  Drops the Indians/Redhawks to 1-3 (win over D-II Rockhurst College).

Go Jackrabbits, beat the Indian/Redhawks! ;D

I must say the Show Me Center is a nice looking arena.

SDSU's played there before . . . there was a D-II Regional that SEMO hosted. It is a nice arena.

Leading scorer for SEMS won't play tonight, rules violation. Increases our chances to get our first DI win tonight.

Jacks lead 31-28 at the half.  Kind of an ugly game the way it sounds.  Nice to have a lead.  SEMO struggling to score without their lead man.

Loney has 11 (7 from the line). Holdren has 6 points. Beran does not have a FG.

We just can't seem to score. Reason? Guard play. Have to respect the intensity and defense played by the Jacks. Helps that their offensive stud is suspended for this game.

Jacks are playing much better here in the second half. Taking much better shots(67% since half). 13:16 to go SDSU 43 - SEMO 32.

Women blowout Northern Illinois, Texas St. next.

Nice 2nd half performance by the men thus far, leading 55-41. Ball handling and defense will win this one for the Jacks. Winning this game at the the free throw line thus far.

SEMO on a run, they have the ball, Jacks lead 55-47 with about 6 minutes to play. Not defending the 3-point line.

They are almost all the way back from a 17 point deficit.  Too many turnovers.  We are going to need a little luck to hold onto this win.  50 seconds to go.

Holdren is really struggling tonight, lessons will be learned.

I could feel the guys tightening up on the Radio.  >  This sucks.  I can't believe we were up 55-38 with 8:25 left. During the last 8:25 we scored 3 points, unbelievable. >

                            Re: Southeast Missouri St.

Well that sucks, couldn't make our free throws and didn't deserve to win.  I hope we can bounce back.

SEMO wins it at the buzzer.  I'm not happy.

We missed the front end of three 1 on 1's with under a minute to play. This team doesn't know how to win right now. Holdren blew a layup and we didn't defend the 3 or rebound well at the end. Loney had a nice game and finished with 18 points, one bright spot.

This loss hurts a lot more than any of the previous blowouts. The boys need to hold their heads high and realize that they can win, the just need to figure out how. I am encouraged and is should come with time.

Nagy was disappointed with the Manhattan loss, can't imagine what he thinks tonight. 3 points in the final 8:25 to lose by one. That is sad.
