Better ballhandling, defending the 3-point line got us back into the game. Too many fouls and not defending the 3-point line let them get a little distance again.
Force them to drive and things have been going our way.
Please defend the 3-point line, please.

We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are.
Giving up 10 three pointers and getting out rebounded as bad as we are you'd think we were down by more than 14. Patience. It will come. Oh, and free throws are killing us again. You'd think after five years DeJong could shoot better than 1-5 at the stripe.
Decent showing by the Jacks, very promising result. I think Marquette felt pretty comfortable the whole game but at least we made them play 37 of the 40 minutes. We have to do the little things right. Make FT's, defend the 3-point line, rebound and handle the ball (TO's under 20). Looking forward to Denver on Saturday.

Nagy quotes . . . "our kids aren't expecting enough of themselves" "if we shot free throws, the game would have been close at the end" "I know we're a better shooting team than this." "I blame myself because the schedule is just too much, nobody in the country is playing the schedule we're playing." "We're not going to get pushed around." "Not playing with the confidence we're capable of, especially offensively." "I hold higher expectations for our players, most of our guys have not (played to expectations) . . . maybe I'm making them nervous." On Denver: "it would be nice to practice without thinking about another team, to work on our own game, will probably do that tomorrow, don't worry about Denver until Friday."
What happened to Casey tonight? the box score says he only played 3 minutes? I was at a local game and only heard the first couple minutes. Did he get hurt? sorry if it has already been brought up.
